Enriching your cat’s environment is an essential part of keeping them happy and stress-free. At this workshop, materials will be provided to make your own interactive cat toys, puzzle feeders, and slow feeders that will keep your cat busy. Lucy will also answer questions and share information about “catifying” your home to reduce stress and common unwanted behaviors.

About the Instructor: Lucy Kirby, one of our desk clerks, has always loved cats and currently has four of her own. Before coming to the Barrington Public Library, she worked as an adoption counselor at a cat rescue in Massachusetts. Lucy helped adopters acclimate their cats to their new homes and answered any behavioral or medical questions they had about their new kitty. With over a year of hands on experience at the shelter, Lucy wants to help your cats live their best lives!

Elementary ages through adult. Anyone under the age of 10 should attend with a parent to assist them.
