Students in grades 4-6 are invited to join our Book Club as we read our way through Great Stone Face Book Award nominees. Bring your bottle of water - we will have a snack, and be ready to discuss the month’s book just read.

If you love reading books, this club is for you! The book list has a variety of different genres including realistic fiction, historical fiction, fantasy, sci-fi, mystery, etc. that may challenge you to read something you wouldn’t typically pick up. The Great Stone Face Book Award is awarded annually to an author whose book receives the most votes from 4th – 6th graders throughout New Hampshire.

The library will order copies each month of the titles chosen. The first two months will be chosen ahead of time to get us started. Afterwards, the members will be choosing from the GSF list which ones to read next. This group will meet the last Friday of each month at 3:30 PM.

The Library will order the book and will notify you when it is ready for pick up – or send it over to the Barrington Middle School throughout inter-library loan service! Students will receive the next books at the meetings or school delivery if necessary.
