Join us for a special edition of Paint Night with Lauren as we participate in New Hampshire's BIG READ! In the 2023 "Big Read" book, The Bear by Andrew Krivak, the main characters navigate using the stars. In conjunction with this theme, participants will be painting the night sky. Adults are invited to express their creativity in this fun, guided paint class with Lauren. All skill levels welcome! You do NOT need to read The Bear in order to participate in this event, but reading the book is a fun way to participate in the statewide program :)

More information about the BIG READ: In September through November 2023, New Hampshire Humanities will bring more than 5,000 Granite Staters together to discuss a selected book, The Bear, by New Hampshire author Andrew Krivak. The "Big Read" will feature book discussions, public and virtual programs, and a public Q&A with Andrew Krivak, all free and open to the public. Events will take place in all ten counties of the state.
